Serial Dilutions

An educational game to help students understand serial dilutions and how to perform them

Serial Dilutions, a 2D educational game developed with Unity and programmed in C#, was a college studio project completed from March to May 2018 by a team of three. Designed to aid early college biology students in mastering the concept of serial dilutions before stepping into a laboratory environment, this game combines interactive gameplay with educational content. Serial Dilutions offers a practical learning tool, empowering students to grasp complex scientific procedures through virtual practice and feel confident before performing the experiment in the lab.

  • Oversaw asset production and deadline management.

  • Functioned as an Environment Artist, placing assets and crafting levels.

  • Designed game flow to enhance player experience.

  • Developed gameplay mechanics with counters, dynamic UI, and win/lose outcomes based on player choices.
